‘Where’s My Man Wave’? A sign of Trump’s desperation, thanks to women

With every poll showing that women, by a double-digit margin, are going to vote for Kamala Harris — whether Donald Trump likes it or not — the Trump campaign’s anxiety is showing: If coordinated timing and behavior are an indication, influencers have received their orders to beg and plead men to vote for Trump.
And not just men — white men. It seems Trump has given up the pipe dream of winning the election by peeling off Blacks and Latinos. The latest polling revealed that was all a crock.
CNN reported Monday that roughly 1.8 million more women than men have voted early in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, according to data.
Political analyst Rachel Bitecofer has a name for the desperation — the “Where’s My Man Wave?”
The Bat signal has been sent overseas, too: European influencer Eva Vlaardingerbroek pleaded on Twitter/X:
“Dear white men, go out and vote right now for Donald Trump. Do not get stuck for another four years with an administration that absolutely hates your guts, because, yes, your demographic is the most undervalued, underappreciated and even despised demographic in modern history … not only does this need to change, you also hold the key.”
Riley Gaines, an anti-LGBTQ activist, made a similar plea on Twitter:
“Donald Trump took a bullet for you,” she said. “The least you could do is vote for the man. Vote like your country was taken from you because it was. … They can call you a Nazi, they can call you deplorable, they can call you garbage, but don’t give them the pleasure of calling you the Beta man who didn’t get out and vote.”
Elon Musk, tweeting over a stat that showed early voting is being dominated by women, tweeted: “Men must vote!”
The drag-men-to-the-polls plan, however, wasn’t popular with all Trump supporters. Trump supporter Isabella Moody tweeted: “Women ordering men to vote is so annoying and classic female behavior: CONSTANTLY NAGGING MEN. I want Trump to win too but please stop the bitching!”
