    Description

    Offered for sale is a gorgeous tall etched compote / comport in the "Wildflower" pattern.  This patter was manufactured by the Cambridge Glass Company during the 1940's and 1950's.  This piece is in PRISTINE CONDITION and features various types of flowers on a heavily-etched comport or tall candy dish.  This piece stands 5 1/4 inches tall and measures 5 1/2 inches across.  The top is scalloped with 8 panels or sections.  The stem features leaves done in relief.  This is a very elegant piece with a stunning pattern (in my opinion).  The etching is completely intact with no missing parts.  There is amazing clarity with no chips, no cracks, no damage whatsoever!  I identified this piece in the book "Elegant Glassware of the Depression Era" (copyright 2009 - page 263-264) by Cathy and Gene Florence.  Please see the photos, check my feedback, and ask any questions before making a purchase.  Happy Shopping!!
