Up for bids is a super artifact from the very beginnings of Silicon Valley.
The main folder, "the shockley 4-Layer Bistable Transistor Diode" is a drawer type file folder, standard size, on
heavy
duty paper,
measuring 10 x 11
3/4. 4 pages. Very nice near mint condition.
The main folder contents consist of:

condition.
"The 4 Layer Diode" brochure/pamphlet, 8 pages. Very nice+++ condition.
PL-1 "Price List", 1 sheet. Very nice+++ condition.
"Shockley Semiconductor
Laboratory" letter - Very nice+++ condition including copy of returned correspondence (small crease
not shown in pictures).
All items, although 50+ years old are in excellent used condition (save for the small crease in the returned correspondence). It
looks
like
the main folder had been stored untouched for those many years. I have had this collection for 20+ years, securely
stored in my smoke free home.
Incredible find - very rare and possibly never to be seen again.
