Vintage PORCELAIN WESTERN UNION TELEGRAPH Advertising FLANGE SIGN

Description

For sale is a beautiful old and original Western Union Telegraph Flange sign.  This sign is made of porcelain.  The sign has great gloss.  There are a few small chips in the porcelain here and there, but overall it looks great.  The one issue I would like to make mention of is that you can see it has a "short" flange on top on the side, but it should have the same size flange on the bottom of the same side but that is missing.  Someone appears to have removed that and ground it relatively smooth.  I am unsure why this was done - maybe to conform to how they intended to display it, etc.  Regardless, this is a beauty.
